Are you getting all you want from your business?

If you are like most business owners, the answer is a resounding no.

When you started your business, you took a lot of risk and probably made a lot of sacrifices. But chances are, you're far short of reaching the goals you had in mind when you went into business.

Isn't it time that you took some steps to change that?

Einstein once said, "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." If you want your results to be different, you must change what you do. You cannot expect different results if you keep doing the same things.

But what do you change?

If you knew that, you probably would have already made the necessary changes. But there are reasons why you may need help to figure out what to do.

  • You are too close to the business; to borrow an old saying, you can't see the forest for the trees. You need a fresh set of eyes to look at the business — someone with no emotional attachment to the past and the way things have always been done.

  • You have never been down this road before — that is, you lack specific skills or experience, which makes you tentative and uncertain. It is extremely difficult to make positive changes when you are operating from a position of uncertainty.

So what is the answer? Is there a solution?

Certainly! But only for those who are willing to do what is necessary and who are committed to make changes in the way things have always been done.

Let's be totally honest. There is no magic, no secret, no pixie dust that can be sprinkled on you and your business to bring about the changes necessary. But with an open mind, hard work and out of the box thinking, things can be much different.

Our primary focus is to help our clients achieve remarkable growth.

Please understand that growth means different things to different people. We support your definition of growth, be it increased sales, profit or time off. Freedom is usually what people prize most: freedom from worry and stress, and freedom to do what you want when you want.

Our primary concern is what our clients want, but we are realistic enough to understand that some people have a difficult time identifying what they really want. If you work with Strategic Growth Mentors, you can expect to gain clarity. Once you fully understand what you want, what you are trying to accomplish, then the path to obtain it is often obvious. Clients are frequently amazed at the relief they feel when the way forward becomes clear.

You will also achieve the increased productivity that results from focused action. A well-set plan is easy to follow, and less time floundering means more time to focus on what is really important in your business and life.

With increased productivity, you will experience growth in the areas of your business and life that are important to you.

You could easily double your sales. Or maybe you want to double or triple your profits. Perhaps you are concerned with a less stressful life. It doesn't matter what you want to improve in your business or your life — if you can get clear on what you really want and will focus your actions on getting those results, miracles will happen.

Will it work for you?

Only you can answer that question. We can help you to clarify your purpose and guide you to focus on your high value tasks. But in the final analysis, you still have to be willing to embrace some changes.

It will not work for everybody. Most people will tell you that they want change, so long as it doesn't alter what they have always done. If you work for change, things will be uncomfortable for a while. Change and discomfort go hand in hand. You cannot make the changes necessary in your business without experiencing some chaos. Your employees and even some clients or customers may not like the changes. But you must be able to stay focused on the long-term goals and vision of the business.

Far too many people want the rewards before the work is done. Life simply does not work that way. You must put forth the effort before you reap the rewards. And there will always be some bumps along the road. If you are not fully committed to seeing things through, you will give up after the first bump or two.

Strategic Growth Mentors can help — but only those who meet very strict guidelines. We have learned that most business owners are set in their ways. They are not willing to change or are not committed to stay the course. We refuse to get involved with this type of owner.

Success is not a result of knowing. Success is a result of doing.

There are many people who know what needs to be done and how to do it, but they are too stuck in their comfort zone to move forward. If you are not willing to take the necessary action, there is nothing we can do. We do not have the time or desire to work with clients who are not committed to change and are not willing to take the actions necessary to bring about the desired results.

If you are truly committed to having the business of your dreams and understand that mentoring can be a very valuable catalyst for growth, then e-mail us for a confidential evaluation. There is no cost or obligation unless we agree to work with you.
